Cheer up, Ludian! We are here to support and give you strength. After a 6.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in Ludian County of Zhaotong City in Yunnan, at 16:30, on Sunday, August 3^rd, 2014, Xiamen Everesports’ party branch of CPC and trade union immediately held a meeting, to take concrete actions to solicit donations from Everesports’ employees for earthquake victims in Yunnan, and help them tackle tough times.

Trade Union Chairman Judy Chen, Party Branch Secretary Guangquan Wang, and General Manager co-hosted the meeting and emphasize “When disaster struck, help came from all sides” is our Chinese nation’s traditional moral excellence. Though the disasters are truly merciless, but the world is full of love. When compatriots suffer from the strong earthquake, employees of Evereports instantly reach out and help disaster victims to rebuild their homeland. In line with the principle of voluntary contribution, the trade union summoned the entire factory staff to practically help people in disaster-stricken areas of Ludian. Everesports’ party branch of CPC plays role model; the party members take the lead to donate money, and it fully manifest that party members of Everesports are actively involved in charity and community services. The company encourages all departments to respond to the proposal by trade union and party branch, to demonstrate the spirit of empathy and compassion, and show care and concern for suffering compatriots.

As of August 8^th 2014, donations for Ludian reach 1.1 million Yuan. Xiamen Everesports’ party branch of CPC and trade union decided to make donations to disaster-stricken area through Xiamen Municipal Red Cross Society, to support “Project Hope.” School years are the happiest days in people’s lives and it is an important foundation stage for learning skills, acquiring new knowledge and having ability to give back to the society. Everesports’ staffs hope these donations could help children suffering from earthquake disaster by letting them study and learn in cozy classrooms.

Since Everesports was founded in 1998, we’ve been positively fulfilling the enterprise social responsibility for years.
